Order with 0 amount

i got an order in my woocommerce where customer placed the order in 0 amount, when i spoke to the customer he said after clicking on place order button in checkout he was redirected to thankyou page instead of payment gateway, and there were other orders too with Cash on delivery option also we got orders of 0 amount, please look into this issue and resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Just for clarity, are these orders displaying as
CompletedorPending paymentin the WooCommerce > Orders?The reason I ask is because I have gone through your checkout process and am unable to replicate the issue as I am taken to an additional checkout page, with a Razorpay lightbox allowing me to proceed with the payment, as seen in the screenshot below:

Once I select “Pay Now” the Razorpay lightbox opens, allowing me to select the preferred payment option, which then redirects me to the selected payment gateway site.
For more clarity, where in this process is the custom being redirected to a “Thank you” page, without an option to complete a payment? Could you walk me through the process to the exact point where the issue comes in, so that I can try and replicate this?
Additionally, please could you share a copy of your sites System Status, which you can find via?WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’.

The orders always comes in processing status when order amount is 0,
the issue i am getting is in checkout page, when customer fills the checkout form and then clicks on place order button the thankyou page comes without any payment gateway, and there is one order today which is in processing status with 0 billing amount, this issue is not for all the customers but we get these billing amount 0 orders atleast 10 orders daily.Hi @roxannestoltz,

I tried a couple of times but I wasn’t able to replicate the issue at my end. It did ask for payment both times.
If it is happening randomly then do you notice any pattern, anything common among such occurrences?
At times, this issue is connected to the payment gateway that you’re using. Can you please confirm if the issue happens when you try checking out using the Cash on Delivery or BACS methods?

No this issue is not resolved yet, we have got one more order today with 0 amount, and there is no report of any error when this order comes, and i have checked with payment gateways but there side everything is working correct.

i will share you the process when this issue comes,first, when the user enters details in checkout page and selects one of the payment options like online payment or COD and clicks on place order button as in below screenshot

https://ibb.co/1r5sGpythird, instead of going to payment gateway page when online payment and processing in COD is selected, it is going directly to the thankyou page as shown in the below screenshot and here in place of total the amount will be 0 instead of actual amount

I noticed the site was running AutomateWoo 5.5.2. There is a bug in older versions of AutomateWoo that can cause $0 orders to be created on some orders. Since $0 orders don’t need payment, the status is set to processing.
Updating the current version should fix this problem for you. If you still have trouble, please open up a ticket at WooCommerce.com since this involves a premium plugin.
