Order status not updating to “Shipped” after label purchase

Recently the order status no longer updates automatically from “Processing” to “Shipped”, despite the “Mark this order as complete and notify the customer” check box being checked.

I don’t believe the plugin adds a ‘Shipped’ status, did you mean ‘complete’? :?)

Could you please confirm if the problem occurs when using a browser other than Firefox?

Also, kindly attach a copy of your site’s System Status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

I don’t see ‘Complete’ as an order status option, so I’m a little confused. A ‘completed’ order is a ‘shipped’ order, correct?

Previously, when purchasing a label and the box was selected for “Mark this order as complete and notify the customer”, the order status would also update from ‘Processing’ to ‘Shipped’. However, it no longer does so automatically.

I tried in Chrome as well and the same issue.

Just to note, HPOS compatibility for WooCommerce Shipping & Tax was added back in version 2.0.0 (changelog linked here, for reference).

I’d recommend performing a conflict test, in order to discover the culprit of this issue at your installation.

 don’t see ‘Complete’ as an order status option, so I’m a little confused. A ‘completed’ order is a ‘shipped’ order, correct?

Previously, when purchasing a label and the box was selected for “Mark this order as complete and notify the customer”, the order status would also update from ‘Processing’ to ‘Shipped’. However, it no longer does so automatically.

I’m curious about this bit, though. Can you please share a screenshot of what you see at those screens? Here’s how to make a screenshot:

At this point I’m going to give up trying to make the “Mark this order as complete and notify the customer” option work. I’ll simply do the extra step of manually switching the order status from ‘processing’ to ‘completed’.

I have the same issue with status not changing from ‘Processing’ to ‘Completed’ after enabling HPOS. Prior to enabling HPOS, I never had a problem with the status change when clicking the checkbox (“Mark this order complete…”). I have a staging site where I deactivated all plugins, except for Woo v8.6.1 and Woo Shipping & Tax v2.5.3, and this issue persists. How do I get help resolving this issue? Also, where can I file a request to have a checkbox to switch the To/From for creating a return label? This is a typical requirement for eCommerce, yet it doesn’t exist in the plugin.
