It is unusual that this is happening to you. Are you selling physical or Virtual products in your store? This will help us understand the nature of your store.

Also, have you managed to make a test order from your end and confirmed the status changed?

In the meantime, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report, which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

To confirm, does this happen with all payment methods?

In WooCommerce, it’s normal for orders to be cancelled if they remain unpaid for 30 minutes so your payment gateway might be simply not marking the order as paid within this time frame. You can adjust this period from WooCommerce → Settings → Inventory.

If it happens with all payment methods, please provide a screenshot of the note from an example order.
