Order status changed from Pending payment to Canceled.

Order cancelations usually occur either when the WooCommerce order expiry triggers or when the payment is canceled at Mollie (depends on the plugin configuration).
To better judge what could be causing this, we are interested in a copy of your WooCommerce system report and your latest Mollie log files.

I tried searching for logs from the day I did WooCommerce update, but logs are missing from the list. Where to find logs from this specific day ?

The plugin log files are available for 30 days (ordered by date) and can be accessed from here:
WooCommerce > Status > Logs > select “mollie-payments-for-woocommerce-[…]” in the dropdown and click on view.

Is it possible there was an order that was previously attempted to be paid with Mollie but was then manually processed without changing the payment method? That’s one scenario where Mollie could potentially cause an order to be canceled after a while in the current version.

I couldn’t find the logs for your plugin as of the update date. I think I know what the cause is.

Is it possible to somehow block the automatic change of order status? More than once, the payment will be made after 30 days and therefore we would not want the plug to change its status from pending payment to canceled.

Hi @wordpressdatasal,

If you change the payment method on the order, then it would not longer be updated through Mollie. This is relevant, for example when the buyer first attempt a Mollie payment but then cancels it and you maybe take the payment manually.
If the payment method for the order remains on the Mollie payment method, then the order may be canceled after 30 days when the Mollie order expires.

But for one of the next updates, we are looking into checking the order status and only canceling it if the status is “Pending payment”. So the order won’t cancel if you processed it manually and didn’t change the payment method.
