Order Status Change Takes 8 Sec

Hi,

Our problem started two weeks ago. Due to receiving a large number of orders, we sometimes have to manually change the order status. This process used to take a maximum of 2 seconds, but now it takes at least 8 seconds.

Despite removing all plugins and themes for testing, and not experiencing any slowness on the site frontend or even in the WordPress admin area, we are only facing this delay when changing the order status. We are seeking your support to resolve this issue.
