Order status can be changed by anyone in the check status section.

    Previously the order status could only be changed on the admin page, but now the order status can be changed by anyone when checking the order, for example my customer wants to check the status of his order and when he enters his order code and sees the order status at the bottom there is a button for replacement order status and the customer can change the status of the order without admin permission.

    Hello zen,

    This was only showing for orders that were imported and then never saved or edited after that. And the order (status) wasn’t actually editable from the front end if you weren’t logged in. It was just showing the boxes, but, if you clicked update, it wouldn’t actually make any changes or do anything.

    Nevertheless, that issue was corrected with the version 3.0.3 update. Please make sure to update to the latest version of the plugin. If you still have the issue after doing that, then it would be because of cache. Just make sure to purge any caching you have on your site, either via a plugin, the theme or at your server level.

    The issue is still happening on version 3.0.7..
    I just installed it now…

    So I install WP Rollback and rollback to version 3.0.0 and issue resolve.

    So, I will await for your next update.

    Was this corrected for you with version 3.0.8?

    Haven’t upgraded to 3.0.8…. Still using 3.0.0 without issue.
