    Thank you for pushing me in this direction… I was able to take a quick screenshot when reloading the page which showed me that the blockUI blockOverlay was what was creating this result.

    I think you could have mentioned that as well though ??

    I solved it by adding some css like this

    /* Customize the blockUI overlay */?
    .blockUI.blockOverlay?{?
    background-color:?own-color-here?!important;?/* background */?
    z-index:?1000?!important;?/* Ensure it stays on top */?
    }
