Order-related mails don't work anymore

    Hello!

    Since updating to WP eCommerce Version 3.11.2 the order related mails (e.g. confirmation mail to the customer and notification for the shop admin) don’t work anymore. Before this update everything worked pretty fine.

    I already tested if wp_mail() function generally works, which was positive.
    After that I tested an older backup of WP eCommerce and with that version the mails did work.
    So I assume, that this problem might be only in the latest version of WP eCommerce.

    Does anyone else have problems with the mails?
    Is it possible to fix it in the next version?

    What do you have under Store -> Admin for From Address: and From Name: ?

    Hello Mihai,

    oh well, I use this Plugin in German and “From Address:” and “From Name:” are more or less both translated to german only with “From:” – so the problem was, that I confused the Mailaddress and the Name. Now I switched them and it works!

    Hi Svenja!

    That makes sense! I think we’d be wise to change it to “From Email” rather than “From Address”.

    Would that translate better for you?

    Yeah that would make more sense and the correct Translations for German would be

    From E-Mail => Von E-Mail
    From Name => Absender
