• After update of the plugin to version 6.0.0 this has prevented customers placing orders.
They get the Message – as set in the per item quantity, but where the product has a blank for maximum which is an allowed setting.
This happens when there is a product on the order with no maximum quantity set at product level, the field is blank as a default.

    Settings:
Order Quantities > Enable Module ticked (enabled)
Order Quantities > Maximum Quantity Options > Maximum Quantity > Enable Section – ticked.
Per Item Quantity on Per Product Basis > Enable – ticked.
Out of hundreds of products, there are a small number of products with a maximum quantity set, most have the field blank.

    Process for error is:
Add product(s) to basket – ones with no maximum set
Fill in the checkout form data
    Click the Place Order button.
Red Message bar appears at the top of the Basket page with the error.

    Wordpress 6.1.1
    Theme: generatepress 3.2.4
    php7.4 – also fails on php8.1 – tried both.

This all worked OK before. To put a “0” in every product is unreaslistic, it should work with a blank maximum quantity as before.

For now I have disabled the maximum, when I worked out what was causing the issue.

Please will you look at this urgently, thanks.

Rory, this hasn’t worked, fatal error, please see other post comment.

Further to the reports on this bug, I have the issue that if there is no quantity entered within an individual product’s max quantity field, it errors up on checkout whatever quantity the customer has entered.

Also, it is breaking a previously working plugin “Quantity Plus Minus Button for WooCommerce by CodeAstrology v1.1.4“

I have rolled back to 5.6.6

    Thanks

    Hello @lencw @garrybarnett ,

We have just released a new version of booster v6.0.1.
Can you please upgrade the plugin and confirm whether your fix has been included or not?

    Kind Regards,
    RonyP – Support Team

Hallo @ronyp. Thanks for the reply. However I need to test this on my staging site first, but (although my production site shows it), the staging site plugin admin does not give me access to download the update (showing a site key error). Can you please give me a url for me to pick up the zip file?

Managed to install update. An empty MAX QTY now works correctly, but other plugins that show quantity increment buttons remain broken. (I’ve tried other plugins that DID work on 5.6 and no longer do with 6.0.1). Examples include ‘Quantity Plus Minus Button for WooCommerce by CodeAstrology’ and ‘SMNTCS Quantity Increment Buttons for WooCommerce’
