    Hello, I’ve done everything to improve email deliverability and I’ve tested it with mxtoolbox and it seems everything is perfect and the verification email no longer is flagged as Spam based on my testing with alternate account.

    But here’s the main issue now:-

    1. If a user creates their account at WC Checkout page, their order is placed and order invoice sent immediately. Even though the email has not been verified and they’re still on the same page with the message that their account is registered but has to be verified.
    2. If user clicks “Send Verify Email” at WC Checkout page, it says “Email id verified !” even though it is not verified and no verification link is re-sent.
    3. After Login/Logout, the user is redirected to the home page even though I’ve set redirection to the My-Account page.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay.

    1- If the user creates an account on checkout page, they are supposed to be able to place the order, even if the account is not verified yet. They should also receive the email to verify their accounts.

    If you want more options to manage what unverified users can do on the shop or checkout, please take a look at our options on the “Blocking” section. Most of them are available on pro version though

    2- If it says user verified, than probably that email is already verified for a guest user

    3- We have many different redirect options. If you’re trying to set the redirection after the verification is successful, the option is “General > Redirect on success”. If it’s not working, please try setting it to “Redirect to custom URL”

    2. I have tested it with an alt account, even if the account has not been verified which is confirmed from admin dashboard, WC will still say it’s verified so, if someone wants to re-send the activation link, they can only do it from My-Account page.

    3. I’ve tried all redirection options but it seems to only work on mobile, on PC, it always redirects to the home page for some reason.

    Hi,

    Please try using the latest version released, 2.6.9.

    We have synchronized the guest user’s verification status after registration with the same email ID.

    Idk what you did but it made it worse.

    Guest users are now able to not only place the order but also view it immediately without verifying their email.

    They are also automatically logged in and shown as “verified” in my-account page even though they didn’t verify and are supposed to be logged out.

    Hello,

    I have just conducted a test on your site https://tandukarbidhan.com.np/checkout/.

    As a guest user, it is not possible to place an order without verifying the email ID. Order placement is only feasible after email verification.

    Therefore, if a guest user registers themselves with the same billing email and they are verified. Upon registration, the same verified status is transferred to the user status. This is the current process in place.

    Should you encounter further issues, please feel free to test the entire process using a fresh email ID. If possible, recording a video of the process and attaching it to your next reply would be helpful.

    I’m saying the users are automatically verified as soon as they register(both via my-account and checkout) even though they have not clicked the verification link sent to their email.

    I have tested it with an alt account multiple times, If I click on the verification link, it says “Error: Your account is already verified!”.
