Order Origin not working on my site

Order Attribution adds extra fields to the standard checkout and block checkout to append the source data to the order when it’s processed. If these stores are using a custom checkout and cookies are not accepted, that’s likely why you’re seeing Unknown. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/order-attribution-tracking/

I found other users who had the exact same issue on the exact same date, but both of them were using Divi, which was causing the issue.

Checking your SSR, I see you are not using Divi, but it is probably a conflict with something else, as this is not expected behavior.

Can you please run a conflict test to see if something external is interfering with this?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and run a test order to check (you can use Cash On Delivery for that). If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

Please note, that you will need to deactivate all plugins but Woo to check this. This includes deactivating Elementor, caching plugins, security plugins, theme specific plugins, etc.

— Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

— It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

Can you please roll back to a previous WooCommerce version to check if the issue persists?

After rolling back, please run a test order to check.

Can you please share the Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

Let me know the other ways to resolved this. I only have woocomemrce activated in my site other plugin are deactivated. Only elementor and elementor pro but i think its not a conflict problem with this plugin.

@shameemreza The issue is resolved after revert back in wocommerce version to 8.6.1 version but what about i need to use the latest version for it. and if i downgrade the version to 8.6.1 its really affect my previous data or anything else. Currently issue resolved in staging site but i want to apply that change in my live site.

I am glad to know that the problem is resolved by downgrading to WooCommerce version 8.6.1.
This step will help us pinpoint the cause of the problem and resolve it so you can upgrade WooCommerce to the latest version.

Could you share the current System Status Report of your staging site?
Then just to make sure, the issue is still occurring with the latest version of WooCommerce upgrade to the latest version on the staging site and check for the issue. If it is happening again with the latest version then switch back to version 8.6.1.

I recommend the WP Rollback plugin to easily go back and forth between versions.

I am sorry to hear that you are still having this issue. Since it works fine on 8.6.1, then there is something in your setup that is not compatible with the latest version. The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

In the meantime, ensure that your object cache settings do not include the cart and checkout page. Additionally, you need to check that all the required cookies are in perfect working order.   I also try all above solutions but nothing works with the latest version of woocommerce. There is no cache plugin or WAF plugin used on the site. Let me know the other solution for it.
