order of products on pages

    Can you change the order in which the posts show on a page? If so, can you also order by date, title etc.

    Can you please give me an example code to place in my page that selects the category cook books, sorts by date and appears on the page with the newest at the top to oldest on the bottom ( i assume that this is the default order but am unclear)

    Hi great-taste,
    Under the Shop menu in the admin panel there is a ‘reorder’ tab that will let you drag and drop products into whatever order you like.
    There is also a help tab on the settings page that gives samples you can use for showing just one category of products on a page – please be careful when cutting and pasting that you don’t get other funny characters and also note that you need to use the category slug not the category name. There is a button on the edit bar of the page editor that will help you pick the right settings.
    There is not yet an option for sorting by date added por title but this would be the default. I will add this to my TODO list to investigate but try the drag and drop reordering first.
