Order of Portfolio Posts

Hello,
Looking to change the order of posts in each category under the “Portfolio” tab. Is there a plugin recommended that would do the job? By default, it’s ascending in date order. I’ve used the following plugin to override dates in the past, but it doesn’t seem to pickup the categories in the theme?
