Order of pages

The Subpages widget lists the menu items based on “page order” of the individual pages, not based on any custom menus you have created.

When editing a page, in the right column under Page Attributes is an “Order” field – this is what the plugin uses.

You can install another plugin like Simple Page Ordering that simplifies setting the page order. It lets you drag pages up and down, automatically changing their page order.
