Seems the last image the user uploads ends up being the image used on the front page.

    Everyone complains about this.

They want the FIRST image uploaded to be the primary image.
Any way we can get that behavior changed?

Or allow the user to choose the front page image?

Yes, if you have enabled the featured images, the last uploaded image is used as featured. And, if you not disabled the Gallery, this is OK, because, if you have uploaded more then one image, you will not have the same image in two different places, but if you disabled the Gallery, this is not so good, because we logically expect that the first image will become the featured image.

@gwin I don’t know if this kind of support request is directly related to the plugin functioning, but will be great if Greg can help to solve this in a some way.

BTW, the ad author CAN choose the featured image by editing any image and selecting the “Use this image as main image” option. Just put the mouse cursor on any image after uploading and click the edit button.

The [adverts_list] will display the image that is marked as featured, as for the images order on the Ad details page it is actually possible (since version 1.1.0) to sort them using drag and drop https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts/pull/10

The “featured” checkbox is what I needed for these guys, thank you!
