Order of category archives stuck

For the most part, the Advanced Post Types Order plugin works really well. However, the order of our category archives seems hopelessly stuck in the wrong order. See:

The 2013 posts always show up at the top of the list, no matter what settings I change in the plugin.

All other pages are fine — advanced types, pages, blog posts on the main blog page.

Can you help me troubleshoot this?
