Hello, The order number search works with hpos enabled but doesn’t works with new fts in Woocommerce mobile. It shows order id only. Kindly make it more useable with better integration. It works with normal hpos enabled only without new search index enabled but doesn’t work when the search index is also enabled. Only shows order id instead of order number. Kindly make it full support with latest index for better performance. Thank you

    Hi dalepdc,

We were able to replicate the issue associated with Full-Text Search (FTS) indexes. We see that WooCommerce has implemented this as a beta functionality in their WooCommerce version 9.0 and above. Presently we provide compatibility upto WooCommerce version 8.9.3. We will check the feasibility and will add compatibility in the future versions of our plugin.

Thank you for understanding. I also posted this to wocommerce team. If this works then the performance will be great. Hoping for great FTS support in future update.

    Hi dihan29,

We have Improved order search using order numbers on the WooCommerce orders listing page in our latest update. Now the order number search works when the FTS functionality is enabled.

Had to rollback. After the update, the order number search doesn’t work with disabled fts also. Only shows order id

    Hi dihan29,

We want to let you know that when an order number contains both a prefix or suffix and numbers if only the numbers are entered in the search, the system will default to searching for the corresponding order ID. If the order number contains letters, please try entering them in the search as well. Additionally, please provide a screenshot of the sequential plugin settings page (WooCommerce > Settings > Sequential Order Number) for better understanding.

I don’t have any prefix or suffix added just order number only. But it is showing order id only when searching being fts disabled. I am using older version now which is working and showing order number. Latest version doesn’t work anymore with wocommerce mobile app and also with order search default to all in website dashboard. Can you kindly test with the latest version. Previous version was working fine without FTS. But this version doesn’t work without FTS or with FTS enabled.

Not sure if I have the same problem, but when I search on the Woocommerce orders page it doesn’t find any orders when searching using the sequential order number. Only the default woocommerce order number works when searching. I believe it started after updating a few days ago.

yes that also happens. It only happens with latest order number when there is no latest order id related with the latest order no then it doesn’t show anything. With old order number it shows order id only

We were having same issue here of sequential order numbers not showing up when searched for. Using WooCommerce Version 9.0.2, I rolled the sequential order number plugin back to 1.6.3 at it fixed the issue.

I also have this issue in Mobile. But it happens too in desktop device.
