    Hello,
    I just installed sequential order numbers for WooCommerce. Seems to work fine, only in the confirmation mail we get from the payment provider the old number (the post-ID) is still used. Which can be a bit confusing. Payment plugin is “Mollie” by payment provider mollie.com. I looked into the payment settings and the API payment description is set to {orderNumber}

    Question: is there a way to get the sequential order number on the orderconfirmation instead of the post-ID ?

    Hi @eagerbob,

    We just released an update for the plugin with some changes to the order number generation to enhance multi-plugin compatibility. This change may automatically fix the issue that you reported.

    Could you please update to the latest version, test, and revert with results?

    OK, I installed that update version 1.3.8
    I cannot really test it myself, have no access to the payment mails.

    But I let the client know and ask them to let me know if it works or not.
    I am out for a few days but will let you know asap.

    Hi,

    I’m in the same situation here. We’re also using Mollie as a payment provider.
    I do have access to the mails that are sent by Mollie, and it appears that the order numbers don’t match.

    We understand the situation and since this notification is sent from Mollie, we have contacted and requested to update this at their end. You too can request directly so that we can get ahead of this sooner.

    Haven’t heard from my client but they are on holiday so that was to be expected.
    I’ll ask them if they want to contact Mollie support when they are back, maybe that will speed things up.

    That took a while but I just heard that the Mollie emails still use the non-sequential order number. So you get a confirmation mail from the shop, and one from the payment provider, and the numbers don’t match.

    Are you still looking into this? I will send the question to Mollie too.

    We have contacted them and they have assured us that they will add compatibility in the future. As it is a third-party plugin, Webtoffee cannot give you an expected release date. Thanks for understanding.
