Order number filter not saved in session on admin order page

    There seems to be an issue related to remembering the filter used, which works with all other existing filters except for the order number. When i filter via the order number it should remember the filter type in the future. That is a woocommerce feature. It does not work with the added order number filter. Instead it changes to order id after loading the orders again.

    Please verify this. Hopefully, this can be fixed. I am using woocommerce 9.0.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The “Order number” filter present on the order search option in the WooCommerce order list page is added by our sequential plugin. As WooCommerce does not provide a provision to do so, we are injecting code to achieve this feature, as such the mentioned WooCommerce functionality does not apply to this option.

    thank you for you reply. Will you be fixing the issue? I also added my concerns on WooCommerce GitHub issue. Please notify them of the missing customization options so they can make it possible for you to properly add the custom filter. I am sure this will be a big issue for many shops.

    We have Improved order search using order numbers on the WooCommerce orders listing page in our latest update. Now the order number filter gets remembered in the case used earlier.
