Order Notes to admin

    Hi.

    I have a marketplace where there are multiple vendors. What I’m trying to achieve is for the vendor to add a Customer note, but instead of the note getting sent to the customer, it’s sent to the admin email.

    Is there any way to achieve that? How can I modify the code in the order notes? If it’s not possible, I am looking for another way to allow communication between vendor and admin.

    It looks like you’re using the Dokan plugin, which includes options for vendors. As that plugin is managing the emails, this isn’t something we can help witk from a WooCommerce core perspective.     On the Dokan support site, I’ve been told to contact the Woocommerce support team so…
    Is there a way to change the Customer Notes email so instead of it being sent to the customer, it is sent to the admin or the email I specify?

    Whoops, sorry about that – I’d understood that you were asking about sending emails to vendors.

    It sounds like you’d like to specify who order notes should be sent to by setting an email address or a role within WooCommerce.

    Your best option would be AutomateWoo:

    You can set it to send an email to whoever you’d like when a new order note is added:

    I think AutomateWoo adds just what I need!

    Just a quick question – is there any other Woocommerce extension that has the same ‘Emails’ functionality than AutomateWoo but without all the other functionalities?
    I would just be using the Workflows option, so I think the plugin is too big for what I need.

    For your specific use case, we don’t have another option. I did check into Advanced Notifications for you, but that is specific to things like stock and doesn’t cover order notes.

    From personal experience, once people start using AutomateWoo, you suddenly find many more ways for it to be useful. (I might be biased as it’s one of my favourite plugins.)
