    Dear Team Neah,

we are using the RFQ Toolkit – what a great toolkit it is! Thank you in advance for your wonderful work.

We have a slight issue that we’d love your advise and help with….

On the checkout page, we require the ‘order notes’ to be a compulsory field as it is important that our clients can supply further information regarding a date, location etc. Do you think this is possible to achieve?

Also, this is very important information for us to be able to provide an accurate quotation however at present, the email sent to Admin with the quote request does not show this field’s information. The person requesting the quote gets a copy of their notes with their quote request confirmation, however the admin recipient providing the quotation for the client cannot see this info.

We have tried editing the relevant php template but we have not had any success.

I have noticed the same problem when using your demo page.

Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Thank you and have a good weekend.

    David

    Hello,

thanks for your response. I briefly read through it on Saturday but was unable to respond at the time. Now I have come back to pick up the thread again and write a reply but your message has strangely disappeared!

Please can you reply again with the full information you provided.

In the meanwhile I have managed to make ‘Order Notes’ a compulsory field so that is great. The problem persists though and the information in the ‘order notes’ section is not displayed when ‘admin’ receives the RFQ email therefore the field is useless.

Thank you again for your time with this matter. It is greatly appreciated.

    Hello again,

thank you for clarifying the questions I had regarding the notes section of the checkout form.

I am building a website for a client and they are not prepared to get into any ongoing subscriptions for plugins so unfortunately I cannot upgrade to Pro.

If you offered a one time fee then I think I could persuade them but they have specifically stated they do not want to consider annual renewals for plugins which is a shame. Everything else with the RFQ Toolkit has been exactly what they require and it is only this last little part with the additional field information at checkout that they require for it to fully fulfill their brief.

Would you consider adding this functionality as a one off extra for a one time fee instead of annual charges? This is the only way I can see that I can return to my client with a way forward to continue with RFQ. I would be so grateful if this is something you can consider and if so please let me know how much you would be happy to offer this for?

I hope to hear back from you again soon and thank you once more in advance for your support and excellent work on the RFQ Toolkit.

    Hi,
Please use my email that you already have for these type of conversations. This is not a topic for a public support forum.

I am sorry for the indiscretion. I understand that you would not want to discuss your pricing on the forum.

    Best regards,

    David

Hi Neah, love the plugin but I’m having the same issue, and I also have the plus version of your plugin. This issue only occurred after a WooCommerce update.

“Other customer information”(Additional Information, and 3 customer fields from the plugin “Checkout Fields”) is not making it to the administrators email notification, but we are seeing this information in the orders database. So the information is being processed, just not making it into emails any longer.

I’d love some help figuring this out, we’ve been working on it with no luck for like 2 months.
    Thanks.
