We are experiencing intermittent issues with orders placed on Woocommerce. Billing State is a required field and we can test and receive validation failures when we leave the state field blank or use an unknown state.

Yet we have had several orders come in over the last few weeks that are missing the _billing_state from postmeta. This is a very small percentage of orders, but we have been unable to replicate it and wondering if there is any other way to place a woo commerce order that might skip the validation?

    Hello @sloped,

So if I understand you correctly, some orders are missing a billing state field. The field is required by default, do you have any snippets or plugins for editing the checkout experience?

Could you also share a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

I’m marking this as resolved since it’s been awhile since you responded. We’ll be here if/when you need us.
