    Hi Edward,

Currently the default is date order the same way as posts operate in WordPress. Also when a real estate agency is managing many listings the manual order gets forgotten and is difficult to maintain.

However you may have a smaller application for Easy Property Listings. So date order is your best option currently, newest at the top.

What are you attempting to do or need, perhaps a feature we can add? Let me know.

    Hi mervb1,

Thanks for you answer. At least there is a way to order, thats positive.

We only rent houses for short periods (vacational, short rent). The houses have numbers and we want to order them according to the numbers.

Date order is your best bet in this case. There are too many variables that can effect the number order. Eg: must all be on the same Street and how does the unit number effect the order.

    Hi mervb1,
Similar question but we’d like to be able to order the properties by price, in this instance high to low but knowing where to change the sort order would be really helpful…is it possible?

At the monment its not but its on my list…. big list… but this is near the top ??

Leave that with me but price, date and featured sorting are great features we want to have and will implement. Thanks for asking!

I solved this by installing a plugin called “post types order”. Works very well, you can drag and drop your listings in every sortorder you wish. I used this for price ordering. Compatible up to the latest WordPress version.

    Thanks for the tip
