    Yesterday I had the following on a new order flagged as failed: Payer needs to perform the following action before proceeding with payment. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    But when I check my PayPal account the payment has gone through OK and marked as completed.

    Anyone know why this has happened?

    I’m using WordPress 6.2.2, WooCommerce 7.7.0 and WooCommerce Paypal Payments 2.0.4

    Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

    We would need to have the full logs and order notes to be sure about what occurred during this instance. However, it does sound like the webhook that confirms the payment was not received, and you might want to test/resubscribe the webhooks. You can find the tools to do this under the “Connection” tab in the settings page of our plugin. In the bottom of this page, you will find the 2 buttons “Simulate” and “Resubscribe” that will help you do this. Please try and let us know what this returns and if it helped resolve the issue.
