As of 12pm yesterday, emails have stopped coming through for new orders, refunds, etc. We’re not getting them, nor are customers who place the orders.

I’ve double checked the settings and the addresses and nothing has changed.

Any advice on what I can do?

    Hi @grahamhopsack,

If emails for orders, refunds, or customer notifications have stopped coming through, here are some steps to help you identify and fix the problem:

    1. Verify Email Settings in WooCommerce:
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails and ensure email notifications are enabled. Double-check that the “Recipient(s)” field contains the correct addresses and that no changes have been made. If you’ve recently updated the admin email, ensure it’s a domain-based email, as non-domain emails might cause issues with WooCommerce.
    2. Test WordPress Email Functionality:
Install a plugin like WP Mail Logging to confirm if emails are being generated by WordPress. This helps determine whether WooCommerce is sending emails but they aren’t being delivered.
    3. Check Your Hosting Email Settings:
Some hosting providers may restrict or block outgoing WordPress emails. Contact your hosting provider to ensure there are no issues with their mail server or outgoing email limits.
    4. Use an SMTP Plugin:
Set up an SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP to send emails via an authenticated service (e.g., Gmail, SendGrid, or a domain-based email). This often resolves email delivery issues.
    5. Perform Further Testing:
Ensure your WordPress, WooCommerce, and all plugins are updated. Deactivate other plugins temporarily, switch to the Storefront theme, and place a test order to check if emails are generated. Use WP Mail Logging to monitor this.

Let me know your observations after trying these steps!
