Order details show same product twice

    Hello,

    I received orders that have the same product “A” shown twice. I tried to replicate the problem on my end and figured out the following: If I add product A on the product page, it is added to my cart page. If I add product A on the category page, it is added to my cart page like a different product. Normally, the amount will be added but on my side, product A will be added in addition to the first product A even though they are the same product i.e. same article number and they also have the same product page on my backend. Product A will also be added in addition to the other product A if I add the product on the search page to the cart.

    1. Try deactivating all plugins (except WooCommerce) to see if the issue persists. If it’s resolved, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the culprit.
    2. Switch your theme to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or Storefront, and check if the problem remains. If it doesn’t, the issue might be with your current theme.
    3. Check if any custom code snippets are added to your site which may affect WooCommerce’s default behavior.
