    Hi,

    Customers have been knowing problems on order payement for a few months :

    – most of them use bancontact or bank specific bancontact (belfius mainly)
    – in the process of signing the order, they are redirected to order/order-pay with an error message
    – they retry a few times with the same steps and eventually, the payment comes through
    – in the admin, in order notes, appears the following message : “Order contains Mollie payment method, but not a valid Mollie Order ID. Canceling order failed.”

    This is really affecting customer experience on our website, is there a way to troubleshoot this bug ?

    What error message appears?

    in the admin, in order notes, appears the following message: “Order contains Mollie payment method, but not a valid Mollie Order ID. Canceling order failed.”

    Is there a cache plugin activate on this page. If so please deactivate it for the cart and checkout page, please.

    The error message is not a browser message (it is a woocommerce notice), and is in french but it translates more or less like this :
    “This order cannot be paid. Please contact us if you need assistance”

    I realize a plugin evolved with a cache option that I didn’t notice, I just added cart and order paths to urls excluded from cache. We’ll see if this resolves the problem but thank you for your advice !

    I forgot : should I also exclude cookies related to payment/shipping ?

    normally cookies shouldn’t be a problem. Cached and minified files can cause such issues

    Hi,

    I waited for new orders to see if the problem was resolved.
    First week went good, but the problem reoccurred for a client.

    Can I send someone the logs to help figure out the problem ?

    It is affecting sales and client experience on our shop, some people retry the payement process a few times and send a email but others drop the order and don’t come back.
