Order by Publish Date

    Hi!
    I would like to have a section called ‘Recently added events” which displays which events was just uploaded to The Events Calendar. All the shortcodes links the events by event start date, but I was wondering if there was a way to list events by publish date instead.

    Hi @dailyeventures !

    Unfortunately it looks like The Events Calendar will always interpret “date” as the event date, not the published date, so there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to add that kind of sorting without some customization. You could mimic it using a “new events” category or similar, perhaps, but you’d have to keep editing the events.
