order by date descend

Hi.

First thanks and congratulations for the plugin.

I want a personalized order in the home to highlight some projects, but in the category pages I want to order by descending date, that is, from the most current to the oldest.

I have the custom order in the home and the order by date in the categories but ignores the descending order.
How can I solve it?
