Hello. With the new order attribution feature from woocommerce (https://woocommerce.com/document/order-attribution-tracking/) we’ve noticed that all our sales from Mailchimp just show as “direct”. We’d like them attributed to Mailchimp.

Mailchimp is telling us the newsletters are making sales. Woo is not showing that.

Do you know if we need to add a UTM value to the URLS? Is this something the plugin can do? Or do we need to speak with Mailchimp Directly or WooCommerce?

Good day, currently the Mailchimp plugin doesn’t support the new WooCommerce ?Order Attribution Tracking UI. Essentially the plugin will have to properly take the Mailchimp Campaign tracking and apply it to the order.

Our developers have been made aware of this and are considering implementing the native WooCommerce Order attribution in a future release.

At this time I’m not aware of a method or filter that can be put in place to allow for this temporarily while we look to implement this functionality. However, I’ll. reach out to one of our colleagues, if it’s possible and will be sure to update this thread with more information.

    Hi @katmacau,

As mentioned by @builtbyjordan, we plan to address this in a future release. However, we currently do not have a definitive timeline for when or if this will happen. To avoid any duplication, we will close this issue for now. We will update our changelog and/or this post if there are any changes.

Thank you again for your feedback!
