• Hi

while approving orders with multi-vendors,when vendor 1 approves his order the status of the whole order is changed to pending payment. The other vendors will not be able to approve their orders as their orders are now under pending payment status.

The workflow that needs is once the vendor 1 approves his order only his order should be approved.

Vendor 2 should be able to approve his order independently of other orders.

Current workflow is not supporting multi-vendor order approval.

Please help me to solve this scenario

Please let me know if any configuration is missing from my side .Actually vendors should be able to approve their suborders only .Here vendors approval is affecting the parent order(WC main order).I have already deactivated syncing WC main order status when vendors update their order status.

In this case the approval status is syncing wc main orders status. All Other status are working as expected.

Please provide a quick solution i am stuck here.

    Thank you

    Hello @rashidavc18 ,

We have examined the issue in detail. Compared to Dokan, WCFM handles orders from multiple vendors differently when a customer purchases products from various shops together. Implementing this feature will require more time, so we plan to address it in upcoming releases. In the meantime, you can restrict customers from purchasing products from different vendors in a single order. You can find the necessary code by searching online.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for your response.

Actually the main feature required for this project is purchasing products from different vendors in a single order. So there is no meaning in disabling the feature.

Request you to consider implementing this feature at the earliest in upcoming releases as this is a required feature for order approval in multi vendor.

    Thanks a lot

    Hi @rashidavc18 ,

Currently, our focus is on addressing the needs of our premium users and enhancing the features that have higher demand. As the WCFM Order Approval plugin is a free version with fewer active installations and reviews, we have to prioritize our resources accordingly.

However, we value all user feedback, and if we receive more requests for this feature from our premium users, we will certainly consider its implementation. Additionally, we will keep your suggestion in mind and will try to add this feature when our developers have the availability?to?do?so.

    Thank you!

As per your examination can you please tell me how WCFM handles orders from multiple vendors differently when a customer purchases products from various shops together

    Hi @rashidavc18 ,

We recently examined the WCFM orders issue but couldn’t get clarity on it, which is why we haven’t provided order approval support for WCFM in a multi-vendor context. The logic behind WCFM’s operations is unclear to us. The WCFM developers mention in their documentation that they avoid combining orders from multiple vendors into a single order. This means that a customer can place an order from a single vendor but not from multiple vendors at the same time. As a result, many multi-vendor sites prefer using Dokan because it creates sub-orders for multi-vendor support.

If WCFM also creates sub-orders, it would be easier for us to provide order approval support for WCFM. Otherwise, we can only implement this feature if we understand?their?logic.

    Thank you!.
