    HI there,

I just used the plugin to import all orders from an old site to the new one. It worked flawlessly, however, the historical data did not. Name of the products did not changed, however we do have a new url structure. Could be this the origin of the issue? For example, all historic data from last year appears to be applied to a single product in the new site. Is there a way to import all the historical data from the old site? we do have a copy. We already tried importing data in settings => import historic data, with no luck.

    Kind regards

    Hi @rafavz,

Thank you for getting in touch with us

Could you please confirm if the orders and products were properly linked on the order edit page? If they were, then it is likely that the orders have been imported correctly. The plugin imports order details into the database, and the historical data is automatically generated by WooCommerce based on this imported data.

Additionally, could you try creating a test order on your site and check if it also appears to be linked to a single product? Unfortunately, there is currently no direct way to import historical data using the plugin, as it is generated based on the order data.

    Hi!

Indeed, the older order data (imported with the plugin) show the products but they are not linked (although the products names did not changed and they still exist). When I create a order by hand is then properly linked, like the new orders we have been having. Is there a way to fix it?

    Kind regards

    Hi @rafavz,

Based on the screenshot you shared, it seems like the product ID of the product may be different from the product ID in your import CSV file. During order import, orders are linked using either the product ID or SKU.

If all your products have SKU’s then you may link products based on SKUs in the Link order items option. This way, they will be linked using SKUs instead of IDs.
