Order ‘Advanced Custom Fields’ Fieldsets?

  • Hello, I have a bit of a feature request. I’m wondering if it’s possible to order Advanced Custom Fields fieldsets. This post type doesn’t appear in the plugin settings to enable for ordering. Let me know if this is a limitation by ACF and I’ll ask them if it’s possible. Thanks for any info!

    I reached out to ACF and the developer had this to say:

    Yes, ACF uses a post_type of ‘acf-field-group’ for the field groups and they should support any 3rd party drag/drop functionality.
    The only thing I can think of is that this post_type is set to ‘private’ (to avoid front end url issues) so perhaps it is not available within the 3rd party drag/drop list.

    If possible, see if there is a filter that allows you to manually set the post types. This would allow you to add in ‘acf-field-group’

    Does this provide any insight? Is there a way to add support for ACF fieldsets?
