Orbtr PIng is bringing wp-admin to a crawl

    Erik what more info do you need?

    The problem still exists, I just added a second screenshot to the cloudup link above.

    My guess is OrbtrAPI->getStats() is returning slowly and should display cached data then update in the background (see: TLC Transients)

    Worth noting. My example is hosted on WP Engine. They throttle the heartbeat API and I think may tweak admin-ajax… regardless I’ve seen a few things that slow out-going API requests but nothing as several and global (all pages) as Orbtr seems to cause.
