• On our page https://www.kingstontoylibrary.com.au/home/contact-us/ we keep getting the orange “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” so no contact forms can be submitted.

We’ve troubleshooted everything we know so far – Akismet API key, adding and removing the Akismet form field code, checked cache clearing, checked the Comment Blacklist in Settings.

Is there possibly anything else that could be causing this?

Neil sent and submitted a very good link. A few direct things which might help:

    1. DO NOT have the email come form the form submitter’s email address. This is covered in the link which Neil sent but if you read this first I think this may be the cause.

    2. If the forms are intended to be sent to an internal email for processing it is a good idea to modify your SPF records to include your email sources.
