Orange Box: Failed to send your message

  • For the life of me, I am not able to get CF7 to send out the email when a user enters info on a form. I get the following error message with an orange box around it:
    – Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

    As background:
    – I was able to send a test email from CF7 to my gmail. So I think the MX records and other things are set up correctly.
    – I use Easy WP SMTP and have double-checked the settings (including Encryption: SSL/TLS
    and SMPT Port: 465)

    Please help!

  • I get the following error message with an orange box around it:
    – Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

    The orange border indicates spammy behavior.

    See If You Have Email Problems – most people that work carefully through this list of email sending issues are able to solve their particular problems.

    With Bluehost’s help, I am now able to successfully send a Test Email using WP Mail SMTP plugin.

    However, when I am on the webpage (after clearing cache and refreshing on 2 devices) I still get the error:
    – Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.

    Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
