    All of a sudden emails have started failing from Contact Form 7 with an orange border. All emails are now failing. The plugin has been working correctly for over two years and all of a sudden customers are getting an orange border every time they try to submit a message.

    Has anyone else had this issue? I can’t find the answer..

  • I have the same problem, it turns out to be the captcha in my case – if you have [recaptcha] in your form try taking it out and see if the form works.

    Thanks but no Captcha on my form, just text fields and Send button.

    Hi simonco, I have the exact same problem as you describe in your initial post. I also do not have captcha.
    Have you had any luck following buzztone’s advice?

    I created a new form and it worked once, but then stopped working again.
    Does this help anyone diagnose the issue? Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks, this solved my issue. I was using a field instead of an actual email address. One eI updated to [email protected] the form worked.

    Resolved! Like you, simonco, I had a field not an email address. Changed it and now everything is ok.

    Hi, I am experiencing the red border issue, and have changed it to an actual email for the (from).

    I have tried what simonco has done, and do not have a capcha.

    Please help.

    I have the same problem… I have done everything recommended in the post Red Border Error Issue on WordPress 4.4.1 but the problem has not been solved.

    My hosting is Exclusive Hosting and never got a problem before. Please help!

    Posting in an existing topic and taking over the original posters question is generally considered inappropriate. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

    If possible include a link to your CF7 form and all your input in both the Form section and Mail section of the CF7 interface.

    Then others here may be able and willing to offer a possible solution.
