I have successfully upgraded WP 2.0.2 > 2.0.3 running locally. I’ve just upgraded WP 2.0.2 > 2.0.3 on a website and the installation has a very weird error…

    Options | Writing

If I make changes to this panel on my local install and then click “Update Options” button bottom right, it is successful and the URL is /wp/wp-admin/options-writing.php?updated=true

On the website install, I made a few changes to the panel, clicked “Update Options” button and end up with a “404 Not Found – The requested URL /wp/wp-admin/updated=true does not exist.” What’s missing, of course, is the PHP file, options-writing.php should be in the path.

The file is there, correct permissions, and this is the first time logged into WP as administrator.

Anyone got ideas on what’s happening and how to fix it?

Update: I never found out why this weird error was occurring. I did another net install to replicate the first one, tested it to death 2.0.2 > 2.0.3 + all the plugins. It worked just fine.

In the end I gave up, ripped out all the test installs and did a new one – which works just fine.

    A major time-waster!
