options shown twice and not saving

    Hi,

    my used theme updated anything and now your plugin isn’t working anymore.
    The plugin options are sjowing twice in menu item editor and are not saving.

    I am relatively sure, that this issue is caused by the theme.

    The theme author says “I would suggest you talk to the plugin author.”

    Can you please help me to get them on the right track?

    @olpo24 – This should have already been resolved in a recent update from us, but in general the issue is not related to our code base but usually to a theme or another obscure plugin which also adds menu items to the nav menu having not updated their code to be compatible with WP 5.4’s nav menu editor changes.

    We just happened to see a solution we could implement on our end to prevent the double rendering even if the sites menu rendering custom fields area is still being rendered twice.
