• Hi Folks!

When I want to save options.php even without changes, a 403 error appears.
Disabled all plugins, renamed the htaccess, but the error remains.

    Any ideas?
    TIA
    Regards
    Michael

    Thanks for the quick reply.

My provider had a web application firewall for the webspace that also monitors WordPress. Disabling it didn’t work at first, because you have to wait some time until it was really disabled. I did not suspect that, so I looked for the error in other places.

Long story short: The WAF was the problem.
