Optional file and image field

    Hi !

    I’ve got an error “File type not allowed: (doc,docx,pdf).” when an optional field is not filled by the user (the registration form). Anyway to fix this ?

    By optional, do you mean file field is set as optional?

    yes, the file field or image field are set as optional

    Hi Brajesh:
    I have the same issue.
    I try to set a field to upload files(doc, docx or pdf) as optional, but the error: “File type not allowed” is shown.
    At the moment the form is filled that specific field(upload file) can be left empty. I already try to set as required field and after that reset it as non required but the same issue pop ups.
    By the way this issue is shown filling a new form and editing an already created form. (when these existing forms was created, that field did not exist, was added later)

    It′s look like the code reads a file type when the value is “” or is not reading that specific condition to skip that field.
