Option to WP Super & Fastest Cache plugins???

I had to deactivate WP Fast Cache as it was causing issues with the site rendering – does anyone have a plugin that is comparable or better than the WP Super Cache / Fastest Cache plugins to help improve the speed of the site.

I have a site that is fairly dependent on larger graphics and those are pretty well optimized for web but the JS & CSS to get compressed? and or have browser caching enabled to help speed up the load time on the site – any plugins that are hopefully not going to wreck the site – your input is appreciated.
