    Hello,

First I’d like to thank you for a great plugin!

If I’m not mistaken I’ve noticed with the 1.6.7 update the bar now has the reject button by default with no way to remove it from the settings area (I understand it was in response to this request).

I’ve managed to hide it using CSS for now but it would still be nice to be able to toggle it off in the settings (while having it on by default on a new install or reset of course).

    p.s. just left a 5-star review

    Hi @wpuser000,

As mentioned in this post, reject button is now implemented via shortcodes for better flexibility. You can remove the reject button by removing the shortcode [cookie_reject] from the message under Cookie Law Settings > Customise Cookie Bar > Message.

Oh I see, I never bothered to check my custom message. The reject shortcode appears to have been inserted into it in the 1.6.6 update – I didn’t think an update would modify a user-customized message.

    Thank you

    Hi @wpuser000,

We have included the shortcode in order to retain the reject button enable settings in the site. If it was turned off prior to the plugin update, the shortcode won’t be added in the message. Hope all is working fine now.
