• Hi there,

We’ve decided on our site that there’s nothing really shown on the Cart page that isn’t on the Checkout page, and we wish to skip the set. At this point, we just changed the Cart page in Page Setup to be the Checkout Page.

Obviously, we’ve discovered that it means the user isn’t hitting all the ecommerce steps, and it stopped recording purchases. Are we able to change the Trigger code to better represent the new steps?

    Currently:
    value:gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC|gtm4wp.productClickEEC|gtm4wp.removeFromCartEEC|gtm4wp.checkoutOptionECC|gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC

    Cheers,
    Michelle

    Hi,

There is currently no such option in this plugin, if you set the same page as the cart and checkout page, WooCommerce will report unforseen conditions for GTM4WP.

What you could do maybe is to change the code of the plugin to first check whether the user is on the checkout page and just after this check the cart page. Perhaps this will fire the proper codes on your combined page.
