Option to Send Notifications to Site Admin Email?

    Hi,

    default WP notifications for the admin are sent to the site administration email address. Through your plugin we can set administrators (users) to receive these admin notifications, but is there a way to send them to the site administration email address?

    Also, is it possible to add notifications for requesting and confirming the change of site administration email address?

    Thanks for your message.

    You can set-up a user with the same email as the site admin and include them in the notifications. Alternatively, you can use the ‘Send to Any Email’ add-on to include any email address in the list of users that the notification is sent to, providing that this field is originally available for that notification in the free BNFW plugin.

    Unfortunately, there aren’t notifications for the change of site admin address at this time.

    BTW, I really think you should add the option of choosing the site admin with the rest of the roles/users in the dropdown menu for notification recipients.

    Why not cover all default WP email notifications by adding “request admin email change” and “admin email changed”?

    Hi @kejatz,
    That is my intention but I haven’t gotten around to replacing all of the notifications in BNFW from WP core yet.

    The site admin isn’t necessarily a full user and as the core BNFW plugin works off of users, this is why this isn’t included. There are no plans to add the site admin email address to BNFW at this time.
