Option to send confirmation email to a specified address

    Hi,

    First want to say that your plugin is awesome! And we love it!!!

    I am checking to see if there is anyway to either specify an email address to sent a copy of the MailChimp form’s contents to (like CC option) so that we can track inquiries via email in addition to checking our MailChimp list, OR if there’s plans for an add-on like Flamingo for saving inquiries submitted through Yikes to the dB. I for one would be willing to pay for such an add-on. ??

    In the meantime, if there’s a way to get a copy of the information sent to MailChimp via email, it would be super helpful for us. Since we do not use double opt-in, there’s no way to automate the notification of new subscribers via MailChimp, so we have no way (other than manually logging into MC each day) to see who’s filled out the forms on our website.

    Hi @mikecarnohan

    All Mailchimp notifications are handled by Mailchimp we don’t have that functionality in our plugin. I did find an article with a workaround. If you have any automation set up for new subscribers you can trigger an alert sent to you.

    if you are using Mailchimp to send an automated welcome or confirmation email, you can set up so that the automation sends you an alert every time it fires – thus getting around this challenge and meaning you can get all the alerts you want!

    To do this, find your automation and click edit. Then at the top click edit settings and just underneath the 3 text boxes, there’s a tick box for “send activity digest email”.
