Option to repeat latest posts

    I can see this question popping up over and over and frankly it is becoming an issue that needs solving.

    We need to have an option to repeat posts within the latest posts feature. Whether it is for reminding users of upcoming events or merely not to have nearly blank email… or no email at all.

    The plugin is used on pages that might not generate huge amount of new post content, but can still run many events.

    It would appear that you treat Events Calendar events no different to any other custom posts type and it is causing us a problem. This week our subscribers have been notified of events in September, as events up till then went out last week.

    I would like to see repeat of posts that are upcoming with additions coming from newly added events.

    I think that would be helpful, but I also want to ensure we don’t lose the ability to show only “new” posts.

    I think the solution to this maybe to add a setting that would allow the user to pull all posts between a date range (in conjunction with specific tagging, etc.) That way if you run a monthly newsletter, you could pull just posts from 6/1-6/30. However, if you wanted to be able to pull important posts outside of that date range you could just extend the date range to 5/15-6/30. It should be off published date, not edited date.

    Just an idea.
