Option to load Nextgen Gallery on ALL posts & pages

Since the 2.0 update, I have noticed that the plugin will use the lightbox feature on all thumbnails regardless of whether this is a set generated by the plugin itself or not. This is fine, however only works on posts or pages where a nextgen gallery already exists.
Is there a way to make sure this standard code is included on all pages, so all thumbnails and the corresponding full size image can take advantage of this?
