• All our products (teas) have a weight which is also visible to the customers under the “Additional Information” tab of WooCommcerce’ products page.

When the DHL for WooCommerce plugin sums up these weights, then it does not include the additional weight for package material (box) and additional flyers/leaflets we might add to it. So in the end, we always need to add 300g to package weight by hand.

Would be good if there was a global option for additional static materials that would always get added to the to be shipped weight that is printed on the label.

In our region DHL is very picky about the weight to be exact and what counts is not the weight of the products inside the package. But the weight of the whole/total package.

Just to add: Some other shops might add small goodies, or a paper catalog. This all, not only the outside package box itself adds weight.

A new filter has been added to the plugin called ‘pr_shipping_dhl_order_weight’, you can use this to add any additional weight you want to a package. Do you have a developer who can help you with this?
