• Because some videos on my blog -but not all- need to be shown in a bigger size, I always used the option ‘single post layout’ but since I followed the devs recent advise to change to 2.2.2 (because of the video bug in updated version) this field is gone. Any suggestions on how to get it back in this theme version? Thanks!

  • Hi Khunchay. Not sure what you mean by “single post layout’. Are you referring to the Standard post layout where the posts are displayed in one column instead of two?

Hey bdbrown, thanks for your reply!

Before, when creating or editing a post I got this field (screenshot) in the single post editor to chose the layout only for this post, but now it’s gone. I used that frequently so I’m not actually happy that it’s gone.

In the editor, click the Screen Options tab in upper righthand corner. Make sure “Post Options” is checked.

That’s weird, my both websites using WordPress 4.1.1, in one version the ‘post options’ seems dead. In website 1 ‘post options’ field comes and goes when mark or unmark, in website 2 mark or unmark, the field it’s just not coming up.

    What can that be??

Also using the same theme version 2.2.2

So, in the Screen Options tab, if you check and uncheck the “Post Options” checkbox, the Post Options section below the post editor will appear and disappear. That’s normal. If it’s not there at all, I’d almost be inclined to reinstall the theme. I don’t know if that will fix it but it should be there if the box is checked.
